I was saving these two discs for myself, I planned on making a bracelet with them but that was a year ago and there they sat...doing nothing, calling my name to use them and give them a good home. So... I created a simple yet stylish Love and Peace design that will surely make someone happy... I love looking at these amazing beads... very seventies!

My girls are very involved in the Girl Scouts organization and this year their theme is all about bringing Love and Peace to those around you. Someone once told me that the peace sign was bad, and it shocked me a bit... because to me, it's a symbol of kindness. My girls love their crazy peace shoe laces, tie-dye peace shirts, peace symbol bracelets and comfy sweatshirts with big peace and love signs splattered about them... and when I asked them about it they quickly sang the praise and said, "Oohhhh it's the symbol to be kind to your fellow girl scout!"

It made my heart dance and I thought, "you're right, it is". I hope you enjoy these earrings as much as my girls love the Love and Peace symbol. :) This is my only pair.
