Encasing is my favorite thing to do with glass. I've said it before, but for those that don't know, encasing is when you wrap clear glass over glass. :) Make sense? When I take glass and wind it on my mandrel, I roll it in frit (chopped glass) and heat it in...then you let that cool just a bit and THEN you take clear glass and wrap over the frit, making this lovely swirl of colors. THAT is my favorite thing to do and that's what I did with the majority of the beads in this bracelet.
