cracked fire agate is gorgeous. when i look at these gemstones, they remind me of vintage lace and a time gone by. not sure why. maybe because they have a cameo appearence to them. whatever it is, i love it.
i've had these circa 1930 vintage acorn crystals since 2003. i thought i'd lost them. when i moved my studio from my upstairs to my downstairs, i uncovered many wonderful treasures that i thought were gone forever. although i didn't have lots of these darling things, i did have enough to make three pairs. {keeping one pair for myself of course} i kept them simple and by doing so, it makes them refreshing and giving you a feeling that they were made in the distance past.
this bracelet measures roughly 8" and has an extension chain to lengthen. the earrings are just over an inch and everything is made with aged brass and copper. |
